    MINNESOTA HIGHER EDUCATION FACILITIES AUTHORITY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REVENUE OBLIGATIONS ON BEHALF OF THE TRUSTEES OF THE HAMLINE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Minnesota Higher Education Facilities Authority (the “Authority”) with respect to the proposal to issue revenue bonds or other obligations on behalf of the Trustees of the Hamline University of Minnesota, a Minnesota nonprofit corporation (the “University”), as owner and operator of the Hamline University (the “Institution”), an institution of higher education, at the Authority’s offices at 380 Jackson Street, Suite 450, St. Paul, Minnesota, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Under the proposal, the Authority would issue its revenue bonds or other obligations in an aggregate original principal amount of up to $9,725,000 to (i) refund the Authority’s Revenue Note, Series Seven-Y2 (Trustees of Hamline University of Minnesota), dated September 30, 2013, in the original principal amount of $6,210,000, and as reissued on July 1, 2016 (the “Series Seven-Y2 Note”); and (ii) finance renovation of Drew Residence Hall and the conversion of the north campus heating system from high pressure steam to low pressure steam. The Series Seven-Y2 Note was issued to provide funds to be loaned to the University to refund the portion of the Authority’s Variable Rate Demand Revenue Bonds, Series Six E2 (Trustees of the Hamline University of Minnesota), dated June 30, 2005 (the “Series Six E2 Bonds”). The Series Six-E2 Bonds were issued to provide funds to be loaned to the University to finance the renovations, improvements and equipping of the Bush Memorial Library (including plaza repairs and a chiller replacement), the Robbins Science Center, the Drew Fine Arts Center, the Ceramics Studio Building, Sorin Hall and other facilities on the Institution’s main campus and the acquisition of, and renovation, improvement and equipping to, the Institution’s President’s residence and event center. All projects and other facilities described in this notice are all owned and operated by the University and located on its main campus, the principal street address of which is 1536 Hewitt Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota, except for the University President’s residence and event center which is located at 1027 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota. The Authority’s meeting and public hearing on May 19, 2021, will be conducted by telephone or other electronic means in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.021.     MINNESOTA HIGHER EDUCATION FACILITIES AUTHORITY Notice of Public Hearing on Revenue Obligations on Behalf of Saint John’s University NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Minnesota Higher Education Facilities Authority (the “Authority”) with respect to a proposal to issue revenue bonds or other obligations on behalf of Saint John’s University (the “Corporation”), a Minnesota nonprofit corporation, as owner and operator of Saint John’s University (the “Institution”), at the Authority’s offices at Suite 450, 380 Jackson Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Under the proposal, the Authority would issue its revenue bonds or other obligations, which will be qualified 501(c)(3) bonds, in an aggregate original principal amount not to exceed $25,000,000 to finance projects generally described as (i) the acquisition, construction and equipping of a new 96-bed townhouse style student residence facility; (ii) renovation and upgrades to Peter Engel Science Center; (iii) renovation of the first floor and third floor of Wimmer Hall; (iv) construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting the lower campus and upper campus; and (v) capital improvement and renovation projects, including a student center (Sexton Commons) and student residence facilities (Saint Thomas Aquinas Hall and Saint Mary Hall) (collectively, the “Projects”), and to fund costs of issue. The Projects are or will be owned or leased and operated by the Corporation, and located on the Institution’s main campus in Collegeville, Minnesota.
