The Authority regularly monitors the market for new types of financing for legislative proposals, new market participants, consolidation of market participants, and new financing structures/options. Our monitoring includes receiving and reading municipal market updates from a wide variety of sources, general business information periodicals, finance news subscription services, and discussions with bond market participants.
Our participation in national organizations, including National Association of Health and Educational Facilities Finance Authority (“NAHEFFA”), Government Finance Officers Association (“GFOA”), Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (“MSRB”), and others. The information received through interaction with these organizations helps us to provide our school borrowers with up to date market conditions including structuring options and interest rate perspective.
